In the past you had to go to a store if you wanted to rent or buy a movie. High speed internet access has now made it possible to download movies right off a movie download site. Just about any movie every made can be attained through a movie download site now. Check out these samples.
License To Kill: One of James Bond’s good friends is left near death at the hands of drug lord Franz Sanchez. Agent 007 is out to get Sanchez, without the support of M6. Unlike most Bond films, this one is personal for 007.
High Crimes: Lawyer Claire Kubik has just been told that her husband is not who she thinks he is. Tom Kubik is really Ron Chapman, and he is on trial in the military justice system for the murder of villagers in Latin America. Claire takes on the case but just what will she find out, as the truth is unraveled?
Scream 3: As the name implies this is the third movie in the Scream series. Sydney has run away to Northern California, and is in hiding. Back in L.A. they are filming a movie about Sydney’s life. When there are a series of killings on the set of the film, Sydney must return to L.A. and help the cops find the killer.
Bewitched: Isabelle is a witch, living in the San Fernando Valley, and trying to not use her supernatural powers. She finds herself being wooed by actor Jack Watt to play the role of Samantha the witch in a remake of the old 1960’s sitcom Bewitched. What a strange twist of fate.
The Actress: The Actress is a recreation of Ruth Gordon’s youth. We watch her as a teenager as she struggles to become an actress, and a star. The film is set in the early 1900’s. Stars Spencer Tracy, Jean Simmons, Teresa Wright, Anthony Perkins, and Mary Wickes. (1953 Biography directed by George Cukor)
Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade: The Nazis are still looking for religious artifacts. Now they are hunting the Holy Grail. Indiana’s father has gone missing in Europe. He was also seeking the Grail. Now on a desperate search, Indiana tries to find his father, and the Grail.
The Accused: Based on a true story this movie tells the events surrounding a rape, and the trial that follows. A young woman is raped repeatedly at a populated bar, and no one did anything to stop it. In the following trial she is viciously attacked by the defense, taking her character and trying to destroy it. Stars Kelly Mc Gillis, Jodie Foster, Bernie Coulson, and Leo Rossi play the major roles. (1988 documentary-drama)
Bringing up The Wind reveals Zany antics from an off-beat group of students at a London school of music are well paced. The Cast includes James Robertson, Leslie Phillips, Sidney James, Paul Massie, and Kenneth Williams. (91 minutes, 1961)
The Fabulous Baker Boys: 2 brothers’ for 15 year partnership as a double-piano nightclub lounge act is rattled by the addition of a feisty (and seductive) singer, who kindles changes in their act, and their relation. Author Kloves’ prompting debut is trendy and self assured, with some awesome scenes and set pieces, although it skimps on tale-and by no means seriously fleshes out Jeff Bridges’ morose personality. The Bridges brothers are impeccably cast, Pfeiffer is superlative. Her misty rendition of “Makin’ Whoopee”, although piano pondered a little, is classic. Cast includes Jeff Bridges, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dude Bridges, Ellie Raab, and Jennifer Tilly. (113 minutes, 1989)
We saw an explosion in the music business online a few years ago. The movie download industry is going to become as busy as the music download business is. If you love watching movies, it is well worth looking into.
